That and the fact that he is half white may have helped him seem less &quot;different&quot; to some white voters. And of course he deliberately cultivated a sort of post-racial persona -- which I applaud.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Despite these differences he&#039;s obviously been embraced by America&#039;s black community, to the tune of 95% or so.  But I wonder if eventually there may be a backlash from the racial grievance industry -- a backlash that gains more traction than Jesse Jackson&#039;s vulgar castration fantasy.</description>
