You are right that twitter is helping ordinary citizens interact – I follow Beshrkayali well before the Gaza war as we are both using the Django open source project to build web sites. I find most of his Gaza tweets very depressing as his tweets are mostly the same old Arab propaganda. I was hoping young, well-educated Arabs will be looking for ways to end the conflict and not spread the hate.
