		<description>Hi Kirk -  I agree with you that outlawing private insurance or a system that is identical to Canada&#039;s would be trouble.  But on the other hand I know many people here that are employed but without health insurance of any kind.  I know several self employed people who simply can not afford to buy health insurance.  And I know a few people who can not get insured because of health issues from the past.  That is what we need to fix.  I have health insurance through work.  I have been healthy and work to stay that way.  So I will not benefit personally by better access to health insurance because I already have access.  The real sad thing is that if people would just take better care of themselves and eat better, most of this debate would be unneeded.   </description>
