It would be hard for them to explain why if they are pro-life that they voted against a bill that would reduce the number of abortion. Currently, Childbirth costs an uninsured woman or couple $17,000 to $25,000 (bankruptcy amounts) vs $600 for an abortion. Under the healthcare bill it would be $400 to $500 vs $600. If they vote against this bill they need to make their rallying cry, "Choose Life and Financial Ruin." Stupack only had 4 Reps behind him and they will probably flip. That alone should be enough to derail the bill but Dr.O and the Dems are back to buying votes again; I'm sure you heard about a certain Rep's. brother being made a federal judge just before he decided to support the bill?
